Proposed Amendment to the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)
The Pioneer Valley MPO will be discussing potential changes to the voting structure as defined in the MOU. The Pioneer Valley MPO was restructured in August of 2006 to enhance the role of the local communities in the transportation planning process and allow local MPO members to represent sub regional districts respective to community size and geographic location. The number of voting members was increased from eight to ten, (Click Here) to see current MPO structure.
The proposed change to the MPO structure would update the status of the Chair of the Infrastructure Committee of the EDC from ex-officio member to voting member.
