The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission will hold a public meeting for purpose of environmental consultation on the 2016 update to the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), as part of the formal public participation program under the Pioneer Valley region’s Metropolitan Planning Organization. 

Environmental consultation will focus on the transportation improvement projects anticipated to be included as part of the Draft RTP.  Attendees will have the opportunity to review a series of maps depicting proposed transportation improvement projects and their proximity to key environmental resource areas. Transportation staff members will be available to address questions and comments on proposed transportation improvement projects and the future of transportation in the Pioneer Valley.

Interested parties are invited to attend the environmental consultation on May 13, 2015 anytime between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM at the office of the PVPC, 60 Congress Street, 2^nd Floor, Springfield, MA. View the complete event description here.
