Public Meeting - Federal Certification Review
Public Meeting
Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) – Transportation Planning Process
You are invited to participate in an evaluation of transportation planning process in the Springfield, Massachusetts region.
Every four years, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) are required by law to review the metropolitan transportation planning process conducted by the Pioneer Valley MPO and its partners in order to certify that they are carrying out the process in accordance with all applicable Federal requirements.
As part of this review, the Federal agencies would like to hear from members of the public on their views of how the metropolitan transportation planning process is conducted in the Springfield region. The FHWA and FTA are particularly interested in hearing from people who have participated in some aspect of the Pioneer Valley MPO’s work.
Please attend the public meeting conducted by the FHWA and FTA:
Thursday, October 29, 2015, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
