Draft 2020 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP Update)

In accordance with the formal public participation program tied to the Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) in coordination with Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) is holding a (21) day public review for the Draft Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) Update.  The RTP will be available for comment starting on June 25, 2019 and ending on July 18, 2019.  Please visit http://www.pvpc.org/publicreview for additional information.

This process will also be used as the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority’s (PVTA) public participation process. The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, the FTA Section 5307(c) applicant, has consulted with the Pioneer Valley  Metropolitan Planning Organization and concurs that the public involvement process adopted by the Pioneer Valley MPO for development of the TIP satisfies the public hearing requirements that pertain to the development of the Program of Projects (POP) for the regular Section 5307, Urbanized Area Formula Program, grant applications including the provisions for public notice and the time established for public review and comment.

De acuerdo con el programa formal de participación pública vinculado a la Organización de Planificación Metropolitana del Valle de Pioneer (MPO), la Comisión de Planificación del Valle de Pioneer (PVPC) en coordinación con la Autoridad de Tránsito del Valle de Pioneer (PVTA) lleva a cabo una revisión pública de (21) días para el Borrador Actualización del Plan de Transporte Regional (RTP). El RTP estará disponible para comentarios a partir del 25 de junio de 2019 y finalizará el 18 de julio de 2019. Visite http://www.pvpc.org/publicreview para obtener información adicional.

Este proceso también se utilizará como el proceso de participación pública de la Autoridad de Tránsito de Pioneer Valley (PVTA). La Autoridad de Tránsito de Pioneer Valley, el solicitante de la Sección 5307 (c) del FTA, ha consultado con la Organización de Planificación Metropolitana de Pioneer Valley y está de acuerdo en que el proceso de participación pública adoptado por el MPO de Pioneer Valley para el desarrollo del TIP satisface los requisitos de audiencia pública que corresponden a el desarrollo del Programa de Proyectos (POP) para la Sección 5307, Programa de Fórmulas para Áreas Urbanizadas, las solicitudes de subvención que incluyen las disposiciones para el aviso público y el tiempo establecido para la revisión y los comentarios públicos.
