PVPC is delighted to announce that May is Bay State Bike Month with over 30 events and activities planned for the Pioneer Valley. There are events for everyone, including beginners, the curious, and young or old. Stop by a bike breakfast for a bagel, cruise the streets with a mayor, or explore ancient trees by bike. Bicycling is good for one’s health and our environment and supports local businesses.
We are fortunate to have a supportive culture for bicycling with local efforts to expand the regional bikeway network, a thriving bikeshare system, and safe-routes-to-school partnerships. Many work, school, and routine trips are within a reasonable bicycling distance and Bike Month provides an opportunity to share that trip with a friend. Congratulations to all our partners for coming together to support Bay State Bike Month.
