The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission, in partnership with the Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG), Way Finders (WF), Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP), UMass Donahue Institute (UMDI), and Rural Development, Inc. (RDI), is responding to competitive grant funding provided by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) program.
PVPC, as lead partner in this collaborative, is applying for competitive grant funds to further develop, evaluate, and implement housing production plans, improve housing strategies, and facilitate affordable housing production and preservation throughout the greater Pioneer Valley. These monies, if awarded, will support PVPC and its partners in planning for and expanding housing opportunities in our 69 municipalities for the next five years.
As part of the application process, PVPC is inviting public comments at two public meetings that will be hosted virtually online. All public comment will be included in the grant application submission materials as demonstration of public support for the proposal.
