The Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) works with its 43 member cities and towns to advance economic growth and community development across the region. We collaborate with municipalities, businesses, and local organizations to support job creation, housing initiatives, downtown revitalization, and infrastructure improvements.

PVPC provides data, mapping, and visualization services to help communities make informed decisions and communicate complex information effectively. Our team offers geospatial analysis, cartographic design, and data visualization tools to support planning, grant applications, and public outreach.
PVPC’s Land Use & Environment programs support municipalities and partner organizations in developing sustainable and resilient communities through a range of programs listed below.
The Pioneer Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) implements and oversees the 3C transportation planning process to provide an open comprehensive, cooperative, and continuing transportation planning and programming process in conformance with federal and state requirements.
