Pioneer Valley Planning Commission

Overview

The PVPC has been providing historic preservation services to Western Massachusetts for over 30 years. Services include federal and state regulatory compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, comprehensive historic resource surveys (including field work, eligibility determinations, context research, and final report preparation), historic research and National Register nominations; local historic district guidelines; city and town preservation plans; and assistance with Historic Tax Credit Certification Applications. We also provide Local Technical Assistance for Historic Commissions, Historic District Commissions, and other municipal groups in the region on a variety of preservation topics.
