PVPC provides a significant amount of planning support to the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) through a contractual agreement. Further, PVPC includes transit improvement projects in the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and in the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP), both of which serve as guides for determining future facilities and service improvements of the PVTA.
