Western Massachusetts and Knowledge Corridor Data
E.D.D.I., or Economic Development Data & Information, is a first-of-its-kind, online database of economic and demographic information for Western Massachusetts and Connecticut and its metro areas, counties and towns. Western Massachusetts and Connecticut are the first states on the East Coast to utilize E.D.D.I., which is based on the LocationOne Information System developed by Midwestern utility company Aquila.
E.D.D.I. contains hundreds of searchable data points representing labor force, wages, leading employers, business growth and more, allowing site selectors, researchers and others to access easy-to-find data and learn about our regional landscape. E.D.D.I.'s data is compliant with International Economic Development Council guidelines and features downloadable, locality-specific data provided directly by towns, regions and state-level organizations, as well as maps, links and printable flyers.

Quantitative data about demographics and socioeconomic statistics are researched and updated annually by the PVPC. The more detailed data and information posted for municipalities was provided by the municipality and should be periodically checked updated by the municipality. PVPC does not check the information submitted by municipalities. It is the responsibility of the municipality and/or region to check information for accuracy.
