Mission Statement:
The mission of Hampden County Health Coalition is to serve the citizens of 19 communities of our county through effective planning for natural and man made disasters.

Our goal is to save lives and property through coordination, conjunction, and collaboration between towns and the cities available resources such as emergency management organizations, support services, and volunteers.

In support of this mission, our responsibilities include
• Develop Emergency Dispensing Site plans for each town/city
• Plan for the continuity of operations
• Work with Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) and other response partners such as Red Cross to support recruitment and training of volunteers and to enhance county’s preparedness for emergency/disaster
• Reach out to the special populations and ensure the availability of resources for their personal preparedness plans
